Visit to Adega da Buraca, a museum dedicated to the wine production but also to other activities. The museum is integrated in a basalt stone complex, that relives the history of the people of Pico, highlighting the golden period of the famous "Verdelho" that reached the four corners of the world. The liqueur wine produced inside the currais (volcanic stone pens) became famous for its quality and by the end of the 17th century it was already exported to other islands and from the 18th century to most northern European countries, and various bottles of Verdelho do Pico were supplied to the cellars of the Russian tsars. On this visit you will have the opportunity to taste some wines produced on this island, accompanied by other local delicacies. - Day 6 - Pico

Car Rental Details:
- Car Rental Company: ILHA VERDE
- Necessary documents: ID or Passport, driver licence and VISA or similar must be presented by clients at car rental
- Age of the driver: minimum 18 and at least one year license
- Young driver: drivers aged between 18 and 21 years inclusive: 2.89€ / per day (maximum 28.89€ per each rental)
